Well, got my gas bill yesterday an it was over $400 for the month!!! The price of gas is absolutely killing me. I commute a total of 70 miles a day, 5 days a week. I drive a pretty decent gas efficient 2005 Nissan Sentra. We also own a 2001 Dodge Minivan, but my wife only uses that locally for herself and to get the kids at school.
Avg price for a gallon of gas in FL now is around $3.52 a gallon and steadily climbing. I hear it's even higher elsewhere. They say by the summer, gas around my area will be $4.00 a gallon. I'm thinking about asking my boss if I can work from home 1-2 days a week. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed. Before you know it I will be spending over $500 a month on gas. Geez.

Frontlines Fuel of War
Well, if you haven't noticed me on your FL lately, I've been playing FFoW. This kinda game is really right down my alley. Here is a brief description of the game from KAOS-
"Set in a fictional near future based upon the headlines of today, FFOW brings players into the world's next great war. As society succumbs to a worldwide energy crisis a new global depression takes hold. Amidst this gritty backdrop, two superpower alliances emerge. Join the battle on the frontlines as the Western Coalition (U.S./E.U.) or the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China).
Frontlines: Fuel of War is a military-themed infantry and vehicle based, open-world first person shooter. Players assume the roles of the front line soldiers waging the key battles in the flaming battlefields of modern war. The game allows the player to choose one side or the other in up to 64 person online multi-player battles, or to assume the roles of individual soldiers that play key roles in an intensely cinematic single-player campaign. Frontlines: Fuel of War features a high-tech array of realistic near future weapons, combat vehicles, and professional specializations drawn from real world military designs for the near future. It is the ultimate experience of high stakes, fast paced, easily accessible modern warfare."
One of the best parts of the game is the squad chat. 4 players can "squad" up and communicate with each other. This avoids all the chatter that normally happens with the timmies or the general public. You don't have to listen to all the kiddies throw around 4 letter words or racial slurs.
Kaos is working on a patch that is due out at the end of April to implement a voice proximity chat and squad leader to leader chat. This will greatly inhance the gameplay. Anyway, if any of you ever want to give this a go, please let me know.
